Kidplomacy: The Story of Peter Past, Frankie Future, and YOU is a children's picture book for young audiences (aka Kidplomats) ages toddler to elementary school. The lyrical story introduces children to the concept of diplomacy through the characters Peter Past and Frankie Future, who work together to make positive change in the world. The book features illustrations created through a multimedia process of intaglio printmaking and watercolor painting.

Katie Maier was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where she wrote and illustrated Kidplomacy to share her passion for global studies with local kids. Now a senior at Williams College, she is double majoring in Political Science and Studio Art, and she aspires to be a professional painter and printmaker.
